Will my old phone case fit my new phone?

Pick the phone your case was made for and the phone you've got now. The answer comes from the real size of each case and whether our supplier makes one case for both.

No, it won't fit.

Our supplier makes a separate case for each phone, cut to that phone's own size, camera, buttons and ports, and the two cases aren't the same shape. An iPhone 16 case isn't made for the iPhone 17, and the difference is large enough that it won't sit properly or line up with the camera and buttons. Printed area of each case: iPhone 16 101 × 159 mm, iPhone 17 104 × 162 mm.

Questions

Do phone cases fit the next model?

Usually not. Phone makers change the size, the camera and the buttons slightly with most new models, so cases are made for one model at a time. A few phones share a case: one case fits both the iPhone 16e and iPhone 17e, and one fits both the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro.

How do you know whether a case fits?

Our cases are made by our print partner, who makes a separate case for each phone with its own size and cut-outs. When two phones share one case, the answer is yes. When they each have their own case, we compare the size of the two cases to tell you how different they are.

Can I use a case that's nearly the right size?

It may go on, but a case made for another phone can cover the camera, press the buttons, leave gaps that let it slip, or block MagSafe alignment. For proper protection, use a case made for your exact phone.
